Whether you wish to become the strongest fighter, collect hoards of items, or find clues to your explorer friend’s disappearance, Labyrinth Exploration is essential. The Labyrinth is split up into Strata, which vary from each other in foliage, monster life, and difficulty. Each Stratum has five floors. The deeper down you go, the more dangerous monsters you will find. At the fifth floor of the Stratum, you will reach a passage down to the next Stratum, which is guarded by the Boss Monster, the most powerful monster in the Stratum. |

Quests are simple tasks that involve small goals within the Labyrinth. Maybe someone in town wants you to bring back some fruit from the First Floor, or the Guard wants you to do some pest control, and eliminate a certain number of monsters. Quests are rather informal, and can be created and run by any member on the site. You can either have someone play the “informal Labyrinth Master,” and have one player run the quest and control the monsters, or have all members take control of the events in the Quest, allowing all members to treat monsters as controllable NPCs and create obstacles where they wish. As Quests are plentiful, and less difficult, the rewards smaller than those of Missions and Events, but a little bit will add up in time. However, your character cannot participate in a Quest in a lower Stratum if they have not completed the proper Missions that allow them to continue deeper. Missions are unique, difficult quests issued by the Royal Family of Mythraegal for all members within the Explorer's Guild. These Missions usually require players to clear a full floor of the Labyrinth, in order to obtain information for the Guild and Royal Family. The only way to clear floors, and gain access to the next Stratum to complete these Missions. Guards will not let explorers advance to further Strata unless they have been given permission from the Royal Family. In order to gain access to lower Strata, one must clear all three Missions for the previous Stratum. Once an explorer has access to a Stratum, they are free to explore all five of those floors without needing to clear a respective Mission. Missions also include the weekly Boss Runs for those who have already cleared the Stratum. It takes a full week for the Boss Monster to re-spawn in the Stratum, so spaces are limited. Events are special Quests that come around only once, and usually give those who complete them special prizes and rewards. Events will only be available for a certain period of time, and are always super fun to complete. They can involve a wide variety of objectives, from battling special Event Monsters, to exploring a secret section of the Labyrinth. |

Experience is what you need to buy more powerful skills for your character, allowing you to be able to advance down into the Labyrinth. En is the currency of Mythraegal, and allows you to purchase items that can be useful in the Labyrinth, or upgrade your weapons and armor with special traits. There are two ways to gain Exp. Completing a thread will give you 250 Exp, so you don’t even need to delve into the depths of the Labyrinth to upgrade your skills, though it is much harder. Make sure to notify a staff member when a thread is completed, so it can be closed, and the participants can get their Experience. The other method is the obvious, complete Quests, Missions, and Events. En on the other hand can only be obtained through completing Quests, Missions, and Events. When you complete these Objectives, you get money. Another way is through selling items and equipment you no longer want. Sometimes, from Missions and Events you will be rewarded with special items, or maybe you bought an item you don’t want anymore. You can sell these back to the shop to get some En back. |
