Ivaak was really excited to finally see what the labyrinth was like. After all, he would be questing in it from now on, so it would become important to become acquainted with the place. Looking around, Ivaak couldn’t help but notice that the greenery itself had a distinct shine to it. Fortunately, not shiny enough for Ivaak to feel as though dismantling the labyrinth to obtain the shiny material was practical, but it was a nice wonderland of shininess to quest in. Ivaak was quite pleased with his new career choice. What he thought was the Tao must have chosen very wisely, bringing him here.
Yet onto more pressing matters, Ivaak had a job to do. The greasy man had disrupted the shiny greenery somewhere in here so that he could create a vile ditch, where innocent and precious shinies were buried. The thought reminded Ivaak of his anger, something he rarely felt, but the greasy man had done something unforgivable, and in time, he would pay for his crimes.
For now, however, Ivaak had to focus on the task at hand, as well as his new friends! That Pandora lady seemed a bit weird to Ivaak, but she seemed to understand the value of shinies, which Ivaak found he could relate to. In fact, she was practically dancing and falling over the bar at the idea, and you can’t ask for better enthusiasm than that. Then there was that Shelby guy, who was a…hop of light, did he say? Ivaak did not understand how light could hop, but he did seem rather polite, so Ivaak decided to trust his word on it. And then there was Grungle, who like Ivaak, was not one of those silly humans, and understood the wisdom of simple language and the great value of shinies. Ivaak did not know what it meant to hand-spine someone, but it was probably a friendly custom in this new land, or maybe a martial arts technique Grungle wanted to teach Ivaak.
Whatever the case, Ivaak glanced behind him to see the status of his comrades. After all, going into a potential secret police trap without back-up was a suicidal concept.
